i-Admin’s Saas payroll software comes together with ePayslip to help companies deal with Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) new requirements for making payslips mandatory for all employees from April 2014 onwards.
The new Payslip Rule was first announced in March 2013 by Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM), and has gotten many Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) worried. A Straits Times report highlighted their concerns, with 7 out of 10 SMEs fearing that this move will add to their business costs and manpower shortage woes, and with the current payslips of 9 out of 10 SMEs not passing the criteria set by MOM.
Employers do not need to be worried about the additional costs for using payroll software to generate electronic payslips. The government has come up with the PIC scheme to alleviate the costs of purchasing i-Admin’s ePayroll Standard and Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
Attached is a sample payslip for reference, showing the employee’s basic salary, additions, deductions, as well as the summary. Employees can download these payslips that are compliant with MOM guidelines, on i-Admin’s secure web portal at their own convenience.
