CPF Contributions
Mandatory savings scheme paid monthly
The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is a mandatory savings scheme. A percentage of your income will be contributed to it at a graduated rate for the first two years.
Income Tax
Yearly tax contributions based on salary
You will be eligible for tax relief for CPF contributions. All contributions and accumulated earnings are tax exempt when they are withdrawn at retirement or upon permanent departure.
National Service
2-year compulsory service in the armed forces
Second generation male PRs must serve National Service for two years, whereas first generation male PRs are exempt from service.
Singapore Permanent Residency Application Eligibility Criteria
Please note that it will take the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore at least 6 months to process the application.
Any person who is working in Singapore on a P, Q or S Work Pass
P, Q or S Work Pass holder may include his/her spouse and 2 unmarried children less than 21 years of age in the application
