Additional Public Holiday in Malaysia on 15 September 2025

The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, has officially declared 15 September 2025 (Monday) as an additional public holiday, in conjunction with the upcoming Malaysia Day.

This announcement offers Malaysians a meaningful opportunity to:

• Celebrate national unity,

• Strengthen the spirit of patriotism, and

• Appreciate Malaysia’s identity as a multi-racial, multi-religious, and multi-cultural country.
