New Feature: Generate eMPF-Compatible Files Directly from Your Payroll Platform

As Hong Kong moves towards full digitalization of MPF administration through the eMPF Platform, we're excited to announce a new feature that helps our SaaS payroll users transition smoothly.


Starting 1 May 2025, clients using our payroll platforms can now generate eMPF-compatible data files directly from the system, simplifying monthly MPF submissions for employers.


What Is the eMPF Platform?


The eMPF Platform is a government-led initiative developed by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) to standardize and digitize MPF operations across Hong Kong. It aims to centralize account management and improve the efficiency and user experience of employers, employees, and self-employed persons.

How Our New Feature Helps


If you're still submitting MPF documents manually, this update makes the process faster and easier:


  • Access the eMPF Report under the HK Statutory Report section

  • Submit the required details and generate the standardized .xls file

  • Submit this file directly to the eMPF Platform


This removes the need for manual form filling and reduces the chance of errors, saving time every month.


Prerequisites for Employers


While our system supports the creation of eMPF-ready files, employers must first register with the eMPF Platform to be able to submit data directly.

You can refer to the official MPFA onboarding guide or contact your MPF trustee to check when your scheme will be onboarded to eMPF. Registration is required before you can log in and submit files via the eMPF system.
