In a recent announcement by the Government of Thailand and the Bank of Thailand, two special public holidays have been declared for 2025:

  • Monday, 2 June 2025

  • Monday, 11 August 2025

These dates are designated as public holidays, during which all government offices and banks in Thailand will be closed.

This development is particularly important for businesses operating in or with Thailand, especially in sectors such as payroll, finance, and administration. During these dates, banking transactions and any interactions with public institutions will be paused. Employers and HR teams should plan ahead to ensure payroll processing, statutory payments, and other critical operations are not disrupted.

For official updates and the full list of Thailand’s financial institution holidays, please visit the Bank of Thailand’s website.
